Steak Stir Fry

So in my house, I tend to do the cooking, unless it comes to Lemon Squares, Stir Fry or Pancakes. Those are a few of my husbands specialities, he’s a superb cook. But because of his commute I do most of the cooking, which is fine. I actually enjoy cooking and think I’ve become pretty good at it.

So, I wanted Stir Fry but he was running late it was now or never to try making it. Luckily for me my parents were staying for dinner so I knew the kids would be entertained for a bit and I could get into the kitchen and get dinner ready.

Ingredients:

1LB of Shaved Steak

1 Yellow Pepper

1 Orange Pepper

1 Tomato

8 carrots (halved)

1 cup of Broccoli (cut up)

1 tablespoon of soy sauce

1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce

I cooked the steak in the wok and when the steak was cooked I took it out and put it on a plate and cooked the veggies up until they were soft but no overcooked. While cooking the steak I added salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder to taste. I would add the soy and teriyaki sauce slowly so the steak and veggies don’t get soggy.

I made white rice and served the stir fry on top of it. The kids devoured it which is great since they’re 3 and 1. Everyone raved about it and it was done within 20 minutes. I have a gas stove and usually keep the wok at a high medium and stir everything constantly.
