Everyone loves Mac and cheese, and if they say they don’t then it’s a lie!
I’ve been making homemade mac and cheese on the stovetop for the last 7 years but I’m never 100% thrilled with it.
So, I switched it up and decided to make it in the crock pot the last few times. Friends have been raving about it, so I thought I’d share the recipe.
4 hours on high (stirring twice every hour)
A container of Pacific Chicken Broth (vegetable broth id you’re a vegetarian)
A package of elbows, one cup of white shredded cheese, one cup of colby jack cheese, one cup 6 blend Italian, 1 package of cream cheese and 1/2 cup of swiss cheese. And half stick of butter, mix everything together and let it cook.
If you like to add a few bread crumbs you can do that at the end and pop it in the oven for 12 mins for extra crunch. It’s a quick and easy dinner.
